imageKingdom Clean is delighted to announce that they have been awarded the cleaning contract for CalMac Ferries which operate off the west coast of Scotland, starting from 1st April 2015.

Kingdom Clean has been awarded the contract to provide cleaning services for the offices and waiting rooms in Gourock and in Oban, and will also be carrying out some cleaning duties in the Wemyss Bay port office and the Rothesay port office along with two vessels that operate on this route and will provide ad-hoc cleaning.

Commenting on the new contract, Peter Simpson, the Kingdom Clean Operations Director responsible for the CalMac Ferries mobilisation said:

“This contract has proven to be quite difficult to mobilise due to the geographical outlay of locations. However, the experience of the Kingdom Clean management team has helped us to overcome any operational difficulties. This new contract expands our transport cleaning services, as we also currently carry out airport cleaning, and in the past we have provided cleaning for several bus companies in London. CalMac Ferries advised us that the past experience of our operational staff with P&O Ferries and Brittany Ferries helped to instil confidence in Kingdom Clean and the operations management.”
