by Richard Ballantyne, Chairman of the Board, Port of Cromarty Firth
Recently, 4 of our officers attended a local port service course. The officers, who work at the Port of Cromarty Firth, were placed on the course to help them not only further develop their knowledge around the role but to also ensure that they are giving the best service to the Port of Cromarty Firth.

Jamie Graham, Regional Relationship and Development Manager in the Scotland region, had this to say about the recent training:

"The local port service course provided Kingdom Security colleagues with vital underpinning maritime knowledge for their role. They are currently employed at the Port of Cromarty Firth, as Port Radio operatives.  The role of the port radio operators is vital in the safe and efficient running of the Trust Port, ensuring local and visiting vessels are provided with the correct information. We’re pleased to say the training was a success."
