Kingdom renews membership of the City of London Crime Prevention Association

city-sec-largeKingdom is very pleased to have renewed its membership of the City of London Crime Prevention Association for another year.
The aim of the City of London Crime Prevention Association is to prevent and deter crime in the financial, commercial and residential sectors and an important part of what they to is to instigate and support crime prevention initiatives. The Association has been instrumental in the start up and development of Project Griffin, CSSC (Cross-Sector Safety and Communications) and the Building Security Accreditation Scheme.
The Association has over 300 members which mostly come from the financial and business sectors within the City of London and from other security companies around London. The Association holds eleven formal meetings per year, with around 120 people attending each meeting. As well as providing regular updates on crime prevention and counter-terrorism related information and advice from the City of London Police, the City of London Corporation and other organisations, the association also offers a varied and interesting programme of events, specialist speakers and networking opportunities to meet with like-minded professionals.
Kingdom is represented at meetings of the Association by our Head of Risk and Mitigation, Andrew Howe, who considers membership of the Association to be of huge benefit to both Kingdom and our clients, as it allows us to keep up to date with all of the latest news, updates and information regarding security, policing and counter-terrorism in London, by hearing updates from high profile specialist speakers and speaking to other people who also work within the security industry to learn from their experience. Andy initially joined Kingdom in September 2015, having served as a police officer in the Metropolitan Police Service for 32 years.
Kingdom’s membership of the City of London Crime Prevention Association is just one of the many association memberships and accreditations that we have that demonstrate our "commitment to quality" (C2Q). As part of this, we embrace five key components: Safety, Health, Environment, Service and Outcomes. As a supplier to brand focused customers, our investment and dedication to quality and safety is taken extremely seriously, and as part of this we regularly access experts in our field.
