Kingdom Academy joins Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers

logo-ESFAThe Kingdom Academy has been successful in its application be included on the Education and Skills Funding Agency’s (ESFA) Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP).
We needed to be listed on the register to be eligible to deliver apprenticeship training for apprenticeships that started on or after 1st May 2017. We are particularly delighted to say that our application was successful on our first attempt and that we passed each individual section of the application.
There are three types of providers – main providers, employer providers and supporting providers. Kingdom Academy is a main provider. As a main provider, the Kingdom Academy will be able to:
  • Deliver apprenticeship training to employers that pay the apprenticeship levy, for any apprenticeships that started on or after 1st May 2017
  • Deliver apprenticeship training to our own apprentices, or apprentices of our connected companies for any apprenticeships that started on or after 1st May 2017 as long as we are paying the apprenticeship levy
  • Deliver apprenticeship training as a subcontractor for any apprenticeships that started on or after 1st May 2017.
The RoATP gives employers and apprentices an assurance that the providers have the capacity and capability to delivery good quality apprenticeship training. In order to be included on the register, Kingdom had to go through an application process with the ESFA that considered due diligence, capability, quality and financial health to asses our capability to deliver high quality apprenticeship training.
We are delighted that our application has been successful, as it is a strong step forward with our future plans. Kingdom launched the new Kingdom Academy last September, unveiling a plan to spend around £2million of funds to invest in the development of our people. This investment is focused on developing our colleagues to provide enhanced services to our clients and their customers and service users, fostering, developing and retaining the skills that already exist within Kingdom.
In addition to growing our existing talent and skill base, a key focus for the Kingdom Academy is developing future potential. The Kingdom Academy aims to enhance professionalism within our sector and attract more talented people into this vital area of work.
Some of the main courses include:
  • Team Leader
  • Customer Service Practitioner
  • AAT
  • CIPD
  • Infrastructure Technician
  • Digital Marketing
  • Business Improvement Techniques
  • Business Administration
