Kingdom’s Chief Operating Officer gets festive for charity

Kingdom was pleased to sponsor their Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mark Wallace, who donned a snowy white beard and a Santa Claus outfit last weekend to join his family to complete a “Santa Dash” for charity.
The Wallace family joined over 100 other runners on Sunday 3rd December to run around the beautiful lakes and woodland in Allerthorpe Lakeland Park to raise money for St Leonard’s Hospice.
Based in York, St Leonard’s Hospice is an independent charity, providing specialist palliative care and support for local people with life limiting illnesses. Mark’s mother-in-law, who suffered from terminal cancer, was cared for by the hospice, so the family have a close connection with the organisation. To find out more about their work, please visit their website.
Runners had to dress as Santa and run two laps of the lake – although they fooled Mark by telling him that it was actually three laps!
