Kingdom welcomes India team on UK visit

IMG_1915Kingdom was very pleased to welcome and host Jayanand Krishna and Rajesh Krishna (pictured right with Kingdom’s Legal Director Michael Fisher and Kingdom’s CEO Terry Barton), two key members of Kingdom India’s senior management team, when they visited the UK recently.
Kingdom has been providing security services in India since May 2016, when they took over an Indian security company based in Kochi in the southern Indian state of Kerala. Kingdom entered the India market to support their UK customers that need their services on the Indian sub-continent. The new initiative was also intended to act as a launch pad for pan India and Middle East operations in the future.
Jayanand and Rajesh came to the UK between the 19th and the 30th November on a fact-finding mission to understand better Kingdom’s operations in the UK, to witness best practise and to see some of Kingdom’s most prestigious UK sites. The visit took place over a week, and during their visit they went to Kingdom’s National Support Centre in Newton-le-Willows and met with various members of Kingdom’s leadership team, including Kingdom’s Financial Director Jill Helm and Kingdom’s Legal Director Michael Fisher.
As part of their visit, Jayanand and Rajesh visited a number of Kingdom’s client sites and met with Kingdom’s clients. Kingdom’s Delroy McGee (Operations Director – North) hosted the initial part of the visit, discussing a number of different processes that could be mirrored back in India. He also arranged a visit to Drax Power Station in Selby, North Yorkshire, which is the largest power station in the UK.
Delroy described the Drax visit as a huge success, adding: “After initially spending time with the management team and CCTV Control room, time was arranged with each individual function across the site. Jayanand and Rajesh were blown away by the enormity of the assignment.” Following the tour, the Kingdom India team emailed Kingdom’s interim site manager saying: “Mr James, who escorted us, has very good knowledge and expertise on Drax and its security protocols. What amazed us was his commitment to work – while the gate house security officer was briefing us, he was actually working at the gate house so as not to create any delay to the schedules, vehicles and commuters. Convey our sincere appreciation to him on his good work and positive attitude. We wish him every success. Also, convey our best regards to all the staff we met at Kingdom UK, who were very cordial and displayed high levels of enthusiasm while briefing.

Kingdom has been providing security services to Freshfields for many years. They also visited the well known UK supermarket Morrisons, who Kingdom have been providing security services to since May 2016, increasing the size of the contract in November 2016.
At the end of the visit, Jayanand emailed members of Kingdom’s leadership team saying: “Thank you very much for the warm welcome and for familiarising me with the Kingdom UK team and with Kingdom’s high-profile clients during my visit. Having a great company and colleagues with immense knowledge and experience to confer with has made me feel much more confident in taking up the challenges in India and growing the operation further.”
