Kingdom team to complete charity walk in memory of baby Logan

IMG_4280 - CopyMembers of Kingdom’s Environmental Protection Remote Admin team (pictured right) are to carry out a sponsored walk just after the Christmas break to raise money to help the family of baby Logan Lacey.
Baby Logan’s father, Ben, is a member of that team. His son was born three weeks early on the 5th November 2017 with complete AVSD heart complaint.
Baby Logan remained in hospital from birth, and had his first operation to correct the problem at just two weeks old. Although this operation was a success, baby Logan fell ill with a chest infection and a collapsed lung shortly afterwards.
Logan then underwent a second operation to remedy his heart complaint, but we’re very sorry to say that it was not successful, and he sadly passed away in his father’s arms on the 6th December 2017, aged just one month old.

Ben’s colleagues at Kingdom are trying to do anything they can to support Ben and his partner Rhonda through this unbelievably difficult time.
They are therefore taking part in a 10k walk on Sunday 7th January 2018. The money raised from this walk will help Logan’s family with the cost of his funeral and memorial, and any remaining money will be donated to St. Thomas’ hospital, who helped to look after Logan during his short life.
The team are aiming to raise a minimum of £500, but of course want to raise as much money as possible.
If you would like to help, you can make a donation by visiting the team’s JustGiving page - Any support would be gratefully appreciated. As the team are not a registered charity, they are fundraising through crowdfunding, where you can raise funds for your own personal cause.
Kingdom are of course doing everything they can to support Ben, Rhonda and their family during their desperately sad time, and will be supporting Ben’s colleagues with their fundraising efforts. Our thoughts are with them constantly.
