Kingdom sponsoring junior football club’s fundraising event

Kingdom is proud to be supporting the Wilberfoss Mavericks Junior Football Club by sponsoring their forthcoming fundraising event. The Wilberfoss Mavericks JFC is a thriving community club in the East Riding of Yorkshire supporting the enjoyment and development of boys and girls from the age of 4 and upwards. One of the team is managed by Kingdom Director Mark Wallace.

The event is a Pig Racing Night which will be held on Saturday 25th March at The Pavilion in Wilberfoss, which is in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Doors open at 5pm, with the first race at 5.30pm. It is free entry, and promises great fun for the whole family, with everyone welcome!

Kingdom is sponsoring the overall event, and a wide range of local businesses are sponsoring the eight individual pig races. They are as follows:

Race 1 - The Soapy Group
Race 2 - Elevate Dance and Fitness
Race 3 - Aqua Stars Swim School
Race 4 - Vanessa Mills, Independent Phoenix Trader
Race 5 - Robert Room Architectural Drawing Services
Race 6 - Mouse House Floral Designs
Race 7 - Crown Tyres
Race 8 - TeLo Homes Limited

Speaking about the event, the organiser, Brett Romeniuk, said: “On behalf of the committee at Wilberfoss Mavericks JFC, I would like to thank all of our race sponsors above, it’s much appreciated.

“Additional to our kind race sponsors above, we also secured an overall sponsor for the night, Kingdom which is just fantastic.

“I feel lucky to be part of such a well supported club with its supportive parents, generous sponsors and hard working dedicated volunteers.”

In October 2015 Kingdom announced that they were to sponsor the Wilberfoss Mavericks Under 11s football team for the season by purchasing their kit, and in return Kingdom’s logo was displayed on the front and back of the kit. Kingdom also supported the Year 5 Wilberfoss Mavericks Junior Football Team last year, helping them to complete a community project during the school summer holidays, and previously arranged for the team to attend a Wigan vs Leeds match at the DW Stadium in Wigan as VIP day guests.
