New National Support Centre opened by Kingdom

clip_image002Kingdom has now completed the move to their new National Support Centre, with their first full day being Monday 11th July 2016.

The new National Support Centre is Willow House, 1 Woodlands Park, Ashton Road, Newton-le- Willows, WA12 0HF.

Willow House is a detached modern office building of steel frame and brick clad construction with a pitched tiled roof. It includes approximately 63 ground level car parking spaces around the building. The offices are arranged over three floors and cover approximately 12,750 sq ft. It is situated at the entrance to Woodlands Park, a mature, well located 4.59 acre business park in an attractive, landscaped setting.

Kingdom had previously been based at Mill Brow, Eccleston, St Helens for over 20 years. The move to the new National Support Centre was essential in order to accommodate Kingdom’s 25% year on year growth and to allow for the further growth planned in the near future.

clip_image004Commenting on the new office, Kingdom’s CEO, Terry Barton BA (Hons) said: “The new office is a great new home for Kingdom which will now allow us to take the business to the next level. It is a wonderful place for our colleagues to work and our customers and future customers to visit and meet the fantastic team we have built. The new building provides us with security and sustainability and has given us the opportunity to refresh and install state of the art software. Our doors are now open for our customers and future business partners to attend, meet our great team and to see at face value why Kingdom has been such a fantastic success story”

The new building has a Grade A energy efficiency rating and includes meeting rooms, a training room, a board room and a touch screen presentation room. There are 2,376 socket points throughout the building. The new National Support Centre also boasts 100 megabyte fibre broadband, air conditioning, passenger lifts and energy efficient water fountains. 0.8 miles of category 6 data cable has been installed in recent weeks to ensure that Kingdom has state of the art data movements throughout the building. There is Skype throughout, and there are three 40” TV screens in the business suite, four 30” TV screens, two 50” TV screens on the first floor, and a 42” Plasma screen in the executive suite. Kingdom colleagues are able to benefit from on site showers, hot water dispensers, an American style fridge and a picnic area. The kitchen infrastructure has been made from recyclable and renewable materials.
