Kingdom Screening & Licensing Compliance

Here at Kingdom Services Group, we are fully committed to adhering to the rules and regulations set in regards to screening and licensing. Our screening process applies to all our colleagues, including those transferring under TUPE rights, and meets the requirements of BS 7858 2012 Manned Guarding standard and are 100% GDPR compliant.

Our new screening system is UK GOV certified and provides ongoing business security both to Kingdom and its customers whilst providing the candidate with their full rights under GDPR and the required access to GDPR Privacy notices & consents, specifically in regard to the visible electronic consents required by the DBS and other data providers.

Our 5 or 10 year vetting procedure (depending on the needs of the role and the requirements of the client) is also audited by an independent, external screening agent.

With our online platform we are able to provide our on boarding team with full visibility of all ongoing BS7858 & DBS checks and are able to view the exact status of any check as well as what is still outstanding for each candidate.

Our online platform also offers an improved turnaround time of checks. An initial e-report is generated within 5-6 hours in 80% of cases. This shows the DBS certificate number, if the DBS check is clean or if the DBS certificate includes criminal records and a hard copy certificate issued within 2 to 3 days of submission.

Our system issues reference requests via online secure links, resulting in quicker turnaround than when sending references via email as an attachment. Specifically in regards to character references as they can be simply completed on the referee’s phone rather than them having to download a document, complete it and then return it.

Our Vetting Manager software package flags up any qualification/license that is due to expire within 3 months of the due date to ensure Kingdom can provide full support to colleagues to renew.

Once our vetting team have deemed all aspects of our full vetting process to be satisfactory, all applicants are provided with full job descriptions and contracts of employment (prior to contract commencement), and undertake a comprehensive company and job induction programme.

Kingdom is accredited and approved by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and uses the public register to verify all SIA licenses on a daily basis to ensure all Kingdom colleagues hold valid licenses and that they have not been revoked during employment.

As an SIA Approved Contractor, we cross-check the SIA License number against the details stored in the SIA Register of License Holders to ensure that the license is active and in date. All licenses are then entered into the relevant company software, which displays live, daily notifications to the Kingdom vetting department of any licenses revoked or suspended for any colleague.

For all new colleagues, we request a copy of their SIA License which we then compare to the additional photographic ID provided (e.g. passport/driving license) to make sure the both documents match on key details.

Enhanced DBS checks are also undertaken every 3 years or as required.
