Beach Patrol Saves Elderly Person

At Kingdom Services Group we pride ourselves on the quality of the colleagues we employ, both in their professional roles and as people. It is with such pride that we bring this news piece to you today.

At 3pm on 28th June, two Kingdom officers were patrolling the Nova Beach Leisure Centre, Prestatyn in accordance with Operation Beach control of dogs PSPO that has been running since 1st May. During the course of their patrols they encountered a vehicle that had blood running down the passenger side window. Without hesitation the officers approached the car to find a person sitting inside the car had suffered a laceration to their head. As it turns out the elderly person had fallen and was clearly suffering from shock. The two officers proceeded to apply first aid and call for an ambulance which took forty five minutes to arrive. In this time, one officer remained with the injured man to ensure he was safe until the ambulance arrived whilst the other officer continued their patrols.

It was clear the injured man was suffering from a serious condition that had certainly contributed towards his fall and injury. Upon arrival, the ambulance removed the injured man and the officers continued their patrols thereafter. The very same officers had dealt with another incident at the same beach just a few months prior and had cared for others until the Police and ambulance arrived.

These are but two of many incidents where Kingdom officers have carried out a duty of care to the public in such traumatic circumstances and we feel they should be recognised for their actions. At Kingdom we cannot overstate how proud we are in our officers to know they are not only carrying out their duties to the best of their abilities, but that they are also on hand to help people when it matters most.

Kingdom has a proven record of delivering a cleaner, safer and greener environment for members of the community. Last year, over £1 billion was spent cleaning the streets in the UK. To help reduce this cost to the taxpayer, Kingdom's Environmental Services deploys fully trained uniformed officers into identified 'problem areas' in order to deal with littering, dog fouling and other environmental enforcement issues. We operate a range of payment schemes all guaranteeing no cost to the local authority. Instead, our costs are recovered by the Fixed Penalty Notices (FPN's) we issue which have resulted in us raising over £3.3m for local authorities during the last twelve months.
