Kingdom pass Co-Op audit with flying colours

1Kingdom is delighted to have been praised by one of their largest clients, The Co-op, following a recent audit.

The Co-op carried out an audit of Kingdom at the end of August. The purpose of the audit was to ensure that Kingdom, as a supplier of security services to The Co-op, has the required policies, procedures, insurances and accreditations in place to demonstrate how we are going to control and monitor our works across all Co-op estates.

There were no areas of non-conformance, with Kingdom being marked as fully compliant in every category that was assessed by The Co-op, and the overall findings summary was very complimentary about Kingdom, saying:

“The initial building tour of the Kingdom HQ was a good start to the audit, hosted by the COO Mark Wallace and also introduced to the CEO Terry Barton. The tour set the scene and enhanced the overall audit process by demonstrating how Kingdom is setup and the services to the Coop are delivered. Kingdom demonstrated best practice in several key areas of the audit and presented a positive and proactive approach to safety, staff welfare and customer care.”

The Best Practice observations section of the audit said: “Multiple areas of best practice evidenced during the audit. Areas of best practice and clearly exceeding legal requirements were:

Staff Induction

Staff Welfare

Disaster Recovery

Accreditations”

Kingdom is very pleased to have been audited so thoroughly and subsequently praised wholeheartedly by such a large and well known client. Following the audit, the auditor wrote to Kingdom’s Ops Suite Director Ian McCaffary saying: I want to thank you and Mark Wallace (Chief Operating Officer) for the time and efforts you afforded me before, during and after the audit.  It was really good to have the tour with Mark before we sat down to do the audit – an impressive and well planned operation.

“Please find attached the audit report with my notes and comments.  I have highlighted the areas I felt exceeded statutory requirements and clearly demonstrated best practice.”

Kingdom remains steadfast in its “commitment to quality” (C2Q) by embracing five key components: Safety, Health, Environment, Service and Outcomes. As a supplier to brand focused customers, our investment and dedication to quality and safety is taken extremely seriously, as demonstrated by this audit.
