Kingdom providing security to leading retail charity

retailtrustKingdom is delighted to announce that they are providing security services to the retailTRUST – the leading charity supporting everyone in retail.

The retailTRUST helps to improve the lives of current and ex employees who work in retail, its supporting services and related industries. This is around 4.5 million people.

They aim to improve wellbeing by offering help and support financially, emotionally and vocationally to all, delivering a helping hand and support in times of need and crisis. They aim to be caring, innovating and trusted. They help those who worked in retail, those who are currently employed in retail and those are developing their future in retail – or as they put it, yesterday, today and tomorrow. Their patron is Her Majesty The Queen, who has been Patron of the retailTRUST since 1948 when she was still Princess Elizabeth.

They offer a wide range of services including debt advice, counselling, hardship grants, career development and retirement housing through their retailHUB, retailRIGHT, retailCURE and cottageHOMES schemes.

RetailHUB provides free and confidential support services that aid the wellbeing of all those who have, are or will be involved in retail. RetailRIGHT provides career support, helping people to get the most from their career in retail. RetailCURE offers loans at affordable rates and attractive returns on savings. CottageHOMES provides 5 retirement estates in the UK in London, Derby, Glasgow, Liverpool and Salford. These offer a variety of sheltered and extra care accommodation. It is at one of these estates that Kingdom is providing manned guarding - their Crookfur Estate in Glasgow, helping to keep it safe, secure and supported.
