Key construction qualification renewed

clip_image002Kingdom has once again been reaccredited by Constructionline, the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service. Kingdom was first awarded the Constructionline accreditation in September 2014, and the new certificate is valid until September 2017.

Constructionline is part of Capital plc. They collect, assess and monitor standard company information through a question set that is aligned to PAS 91. This is the standardised pre-qualification questionnaire developed by BSI to reduce duplication and improve efficiencies within the construction industry.

The aim of the accreditation is to provide efficiency savings to public and private sector buyers and the construction industry as a whole. It streamlines procurement procedures and improves supply chain management processes by reducing risk, creating cost efficiencies and helping buyers engage with new suppliers, including SMEs and local companies.

The accreditation is described as the common sense solution for both sides of the tender. It helps both suppliers and buyers of construction services to save time, money and hassle. Suppliers like Kingdom don’t have to jump through the same vetting hoops every time they tender. This eliminates having to repeatedly duplicate standard company information for every construction tender, thus saving them time and resources. Over 25,000 other suppliers for construction contracts currently also use Constructionline.

Most importantly, this accreditation is of huge benefit to our clients and potential clients. They are spared from having to sift through suppliers’ data and having to keep it up to date. Over 8,000 buyers from over 2,800 buying organisations use the Constructionline database to source contractors and consultants like Kingdom. They can be sure that Constructionline accreditation standards are high, as Constructionline assesses all suppliers to government standards and maintain relationships with a range of industry, ePurchasing and government partners to ensure that they remain relevant to procurement professionals within the construction industry.
