This was ABP Langport’s second annual charity fun day and took place at their site in Somerset. It was open to site employees and their families who were able to take part in fete activities such as “beat the goalie” and face painting, as well as see a falconry display and enjoy a range of foods and ice creams. During the event there was a tombola and a raffle. Kingdom donated £100 of Love to Shop vouchers as a prize for the raffle, having provided an experience voucher for a champagne meal for two at a spa last year. The proceeds of the event are donated to local worthy causes, with this year’s funds being donated to a local school that is raising money for a construction project to develop their sporting facilities.
Kingdom has provided a manned security team to ABP Group’s site in Langport since March 2015, where they manage the physical security of the complex food processing facility.
