Kingdom is extremely proud of one of their employees, Harry Richards, cleaning supervisor at Old Market shopping centre in Hereford, who has been presented with a fantastic customer service award by his client.
Harry was given a Shining Star Award after being nominated by a number of his colleagues for his service to customers and other team members, and for recognition of the fact that he works exceptionally hard and always does so with a smile on his face.
Harry was presented with the award by Old Market’s Centre Manager Alan Anderson, and was given a letter which said:
“On behalf of Old Market I am delighted to tell you that you have been nominated by a number of your colleagues for a Customer Service Award.
“It has been recognised that on numerous occasions you have gone above and beyond your expected duties to not only assist customers but also your colleagues. This was not something you were asked to do but rather you made the decision yourself. The positive attitude you have to work is often commented on by your colleagues and you are a highly valued member of the Customer Service Team. Your exceptional service reflects the values we want to instil in all our team at Old Market. We hope you continue to keep up the good work in your role as Cleaning Supervisor.
“I want to express my sincere gratitude for your outstanding customer service and as recognition of this an award is enclosed.”
As part of his award, Harry was also given a ticket to see Manchester United play at Old Trafford. Commenting on the award, Kingdom’s Cleaning Manager at Old Market, Ken Bailey, said:
“Harry is a massive Manchester United fan, but he had never been to see a game after supporting them for over 45 years. As I am from Manchester and am also a Manchester United fan, we all decided to do this as Harry’s reward for his Shining Star Award.
“Harry was speechless when Alan Anderson, our centre manager, presented Harry with his letter and he saw his ticket. I took him to the game and he spent a good hour in the shop buying himself lots of football tops, hats and other merchandise. After the game Harry saw a number of team players, including Wayne Rooney, and got a wave from Sir Alex Fergusson himself!
“On the way home I took Harry to dinner. He had the next day off work, which was good as the traffic was so bad that we didn’t get home until very late! Congratulations Harry, we are all very proud of you!”
