Kingdom is pleased to welcome Andy Farley, who joined the company on 1st December as the new Dual Service Development and Relationship Manager. This is a brand new role which will see Andy aim to win, retain and develop dual service contracts across Kingdom’s security and cleaning divisions.
Examples of Andy’s responsibilities include:
- supporting the current management of existing dual service security and cleaning contracts
- working with existing Kingdom customers to introduce new service lines
- working with customers to understand any need for contract expansion possibilities, such as extending services to additional locations
- delivering operational service excellence
Immediately prior to joining Kingdom, Andy was Group Operations Director at Westgrove Group for four and a half years. His role predominantly involved managing the delivery of the company’s cleaning and security services across the UK. He was also responsible for delivering customer care innovation, building a network of close partnerships with customers, building and delivering a strategic plan for continuous improvement, and communicating with staff and clients at all levels.
He has also worked in retail, shopping centres and the corporate sector, including spending 11 years with leading high street retailer WHSmith where he was Senior Store Manager of one of the biggest turnover stores in the UK that operated 364 days per year and had over 100 employees.
Andy believes that a business’s people are critical to that business’s success and always treats everyone he comes into contact with at work with respect, courtesy and honesty at all times. He will never pass a colleague on a site without at least saying hello, and he always tries to work with a smile. He also believes that you should always do the right thing, and that you should always do what you say you are going to do.
Outside of work Andy lives in Northamptonshire with his partner Amy and their daughter Ruby. He loves football and is an avid Chelsea fan and has been for over 35 years, supporting the team through both the good times and the bad. Another of his passions is travelling, and he has so far been to 56 different countries (and counting!) Out of the 56, his favourite country has been the USA, with his favourite city being New York, which he has visited five times so far. Andy’s other hobbies include playing golf, tennis, squash, snowboarding and walking, and he also speaks a little Spanish.
His two claims to fame are that he once scored a goal against former Chelsea and England goalkeeper Peter Bonetti in a charity match at Craven Cottage, and that he sang on stage with 80’s soul singer Jaki Graham to her hit song “Could It Be I’m Falling In Love” which now makes him cringe!
Welcome to Kingdom Andy!
