Kingdom is pleased to be continuing their sponsorship of local football club Wigan Athletic FC (nicknamed the Latics) this season by utilising the advertising media opportunities at The DW Stadium in Wigan.
This includes the use of the static and dynamic advertising boards around the ground along with additional advertising through large banners placed on one of the stands.
The Latics’ DW Stadium is located only 10 miles away from Kingdom’s National Support Centre in Eccleston, St Helens, and has a capacity of over 25,000 people.
Wigan Athletic recently invited their main sponsors along to the team photo shoot for this season. The first photo below shows the Wigan Athletic team with the Kingdom banner, and the second photo shows Kingdom CEO Terry Barton (left) and Kingdom’s Rob Barton (right) with the team.
Kingdom has had a long relationship with the club which dates back many years, thanks to Kingdom CEO Terry Barton being a lifelong Latics fan. Terry has supported Wigan through thick and thin. Wigan Athletic FC have an illustrious history, having won the football league trophy twice, as well as the Second Division and Third Division and most recently seeing off premier league giants, Manchester City to win the 2013 FA Cup at Wembley.
