Kingdom supports client’s fundraising efforts

Scott Grange open dayKingdom was very pleased to support the recent fundraising efforts of one of their client’s, Scott Grange, which is part of national social enterprise and charity Home Group. Kingdom has provided a concierge security service to Home Group nationwide, including Scott Grange, since December 2011.

Scott Grange recently held an open day to raise funds for their residents, and this included a raffle, bake off, sponsored cycle and tombola. Kingdom sponsored the event by donating £100 in high street vouchers which were used as the first prize for the raffle. Home Group is one of the UK’s largest providers of high quality housing and supported housing services and products, with a turnover of over £325million. Founded in the North East by an Act of Parliament in the 1930s, their mission is “to help their customers and clients to open doors to new opportunities and healthy lives”.

Home Group’s role is to provide general needs housing, supported housing services and home ownership options targeted towards helping some of society’s most vulnerable or excluded people take control of their own lives. Home Group houses over 120,000 people a year and manages over 55,000 homes in over 200 local authorities in England, Scotland and Wales. Scott Grange is part of Home Group. It is a large house in the centre of Hartlepool and is funded through rental income and Hartlepool Supporting People. It provides an accommodation and support service to 18-65 year old male ex-offenders or those at risk of offending who are homeless or in housing need.
