Deb joined Kingdom in April 2013 and has provided security services continuously as a member of the 80 Strand security team in London, covering a range of different roles including loading bay officer, patrolling officer, reception officer, access control officer and has been a member of the onsite search team. Deb has recently successfully launched his own restaurant, and has therefore reduced his contract to a part time one.
Deb originally comes from Kathmandu in Nepal, which was catastrophically hit in quick succession by a number of earthquakes resulting tragically in loss of life, homes, families and livelihoods in and around the city. Fortunately, Deb was not directly impacted with his family all having escaped injury from the quake, but as he grew up and lived in Kathmandu he knows people who were not so lucky.
Since the earthquake struck on the 25th April 2015, Deb has campaigned tirelessly on behalf of those who were impacted and has personally raised a staggering £10,000 towards the aid effort by organising community events and collecting money in his family run restaurant business.
In recognition of his philanthropy, Deb was recognised by our client, Paul Bone, and also recently named as 80 Strand Employee of the Month, a client sponsored award. Congratulations Deb, this is an absolutely incredible achievement and all of your colleagues at Kingdom are incredibly proud of you!
